This song isn’t actually about Suwako. It seems to tell the story written by Lafkadio Hearn, called The Story of Chugoro. You can read it in English and Japanese there.

The bright moon casts a lovely light on Earth
And even so, your green hair is much more lovely
Your eyes so clear, more beautiful than anything else
It’s dear to me I have that by my side

さあ　もっと確かに——名を呼んで
明日の世界を描くまで
saa motto tashika ni na wo yonde
asu no sekai wo egaku made

Now, just so I can be more sure, call my name
Before we paint the world of tomorrow

息つく暇なく——抱いてみて
永久の国へと至るまで　嗚呼
iki tsuku hima naku daite mite
towa no kuni he to itaru made aa

There’s no time to rest, try and get even closer
Before we head down to the Land of Eternity, aah!

あなたとふたりどこまでこの道の果てに
いつまでだって御傍に　置いて下さいね——？
anata to futari doko made kono michi no hate ni
itsu made datte o-soba ni oite kudasai ne?

Together we shall head down this path till its very end

For years innumerable I’ve held onto this wish, now, aah, in that deep well

I might’ve been born in a human body, but listen, a God dwells in this blood!

嗚呼　その眼　爛々と　この世の何物よりも畏ろしい
——それが内なる畏きもの

aa sono me ranran to konoyo no nani mono yori mo osoroshii
sore ga uchi naru kashiki mono
