we’re a generation wishing for the moon” – you see what I did here?

(The Science Century of Gutenberg)
Circle: minimum electric design
Album: Two-Tone

“No mater how much we want to reach the heavens, we should give up on things that won’t change”
I read yesterday in the first-person novel and teared up.

meguri meguru hito no yo wa mugen no katsuji sekai

No mater how much we want to reach the heavens, out on a journey to find its form
Spinning round the human world – the infinite world of print

ima, eiseijou no kafe terasu
mujuuryoku no kuukan no naka shiroi kesshou no hoshikuzu tokashiteyuku

Right now, sitting in the Satellite Café Terrace
In zero gravity, the crystal white stardust melts around us

mukashi yonda ehon no naka ni aru otogibanashi no you na mono
de mo ano hi mita machikado no yume wa koko ni mou kitto nai mono dakara

I once saw that fairy-tale in a picture book I read long time ago
But what I saw in the dream I had on the street corner surely isn’t there anymore

No mater how much we want to reach the heavens, out on a journey to find its form
Spinning round the human world – the infinite world of print

mada, eiseijou no kafe terasu

Still sitting in the Satellite Café Terrace
In infinitely ongoing traffic, we stare at the bottom of a gravity well

mukashi yonda ehon no naka ni iru ano hime-sama no you na mono
demo ano hi mita machikado no yume wa sude ni kanaerareta yume dakara

I once saw this princess in a picture book I read long time ago
But what I saw in the dream I had on the street corner will definitely be granted, as it’s a dream!

dore dake ten ni mukai negatte mo ehon no naka wa samayoenai
mujuuryoku wo oyogikittatte nai mono nedari sedai

No mater how much we want to reach the heavens, we can’t wander inside a picture book!
Our bodies floating in zero gravity, we’re a generation wishing for the moon

dore dake ten ni mukai negatte mo katsuji no naka wa ikirarenai
mujuuryoku wo nigekittatte mugen no kyosuu sekai

No mater how much we want to reach the heavens, we can’t live inside a printed text
Fleeting from the zero gravity, an infinite world of imaginary numbers

dore dake ten ni mukai negatte mo kawaranai koto akiramete

ima, eiseijou no kafe terasu
mujuuryoku no tairyuu shiteru shiroi kesshou no hoshikuzu nagareboshi ni

Right now, sitting in the Satellite Café Terrace
In zero gravity, the crystal white stardust stagnates, turning into shooting stars
